When Ann and I first started chatting we noticed we both had 561 area codes. Long story short, Ann grew up in the neighborhood behind mine and went to the rival high school down the street from me. From growing up in the same hometown to meeting 200 miles away in Captiva Island, isn’t it crazy how small the world is?! Okay, okay, now onto the real reason we’re all here. Beach weddings usually mean catching the sun go down, but for the Furnas wedding it was an early start! We began the morning as the sun was rising above the island in an array of colors but, in typical Florida fashion, the good weather didn’t last long as the rain forced the ceremony inside. Once the showers passed we headed to the shoreline where the water couldn’t have been more blue. Island magic ensued and the rest of the morning was as perfect as the tropical oasis Mr. & Mrs. Furnas got married on. Congratulations Ann and Phil!
