St. Pete Murals // The Koenigs

This past year I wasn’t able to take on my family sessions due to my crazy wedding schedule which hurt my heart a little bit. Most of these families I’ve been with for years and I’ve captured their kids growing up which is why it’s so special to me. A major part of growing in a business (and as a person) is learning to create boundaries in hopes of maintaining a sane level of work-life balance during my most stressful time of year. To the families that I wasn’t able to document this past year, I missed you terribly but I also understand that Christmas card hustle! And to the families who either scheduled with me in October, or waited until this year like the Koenigs, that truly meant the world to me! ❤️ Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox now and talk about running around these St Pete murals with the Koenig fam!

St. Pete is full of gems, my favorite being the 129 murals scattered around the city. The Koenig family always has the most colorful outfits (which I LOVE) and are always down for something a little more creative. When they suggested hitting up the St Pete murals I couldn’t have said yes fast enough. I remember my session with the twins when they were first born, now look at them! The colors of the murals matched the Koenig kids energy (almost, still trying to figure out a way to bottle that up and take it with my coffee in the morning) and I think this might be our best photo shoot yet! So thankful for this sweet family that I love getting to capture every year. So, how will will top this session you might ask? We have an entire year to figure it out. TBD. TBD.
