Laura and Johnathan’s intimate NOVA 535 wedding was everything my soul needed and more. Planned during COVID, they had a small group of their closest friends and family with them to help celebrate their day. It was the perfect mix of laid back and party. Both Laura and Johnathan have very important family members that are no longer with them. What I thought was really special was the way they both chose to honor and celebrate those people in their life to make sure they were with them in spirit every step of the way. Once the party was over a sparkler exit lead the newlyweds to a horse-drawn carriage. If that’s not the most fabulous way to exit your wedding I don’t know what is! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Bossick! NOVA 535 wedding venue is such a unique space. Nestled in Historic St. Petersburg, FL this 100-year old venue has been completely modernized without losing any of the charm. This multi-level space makes it the perfect all-inclusive wedding venue. There are two bridal suites upstairs for both the bride and groom to get ready in. You have two options for the ceremony, whether it be inside against the brick or outside in the courtyard amongst the bamboo. Cocktail hour is held upstairs with both an inside/outside option while the downstairs level is being transformed into the reception space to party the night away. NOVA 535 is a *professional* photographers dream. The dark and dramatic lighting, when lit properly, can create such stunning photographs. The brick, spot-lighting, and dynamics of this space don’t need much dressing up which allows for your decor budget to be allocated elsewhere. It’s not just the inside of this NOVA 535 wedding venue that’s amazing for photos. The courtyard area outside with the bamboo and the eclectic vibes of the area surrounding the venue make for some perfect photo ops too (hello murals)!
