Abacoa Golf Club Wedding // Mr. & Mrs. Exilien

As is the theme for most 2020 weddings, modifications are becoming the norm, and for Carly and Re’Shaw’s Abacoa Golf Club wedding it was no different. Carly and Re’Shaw were originally planning a big wedding with all of their friends and family. Instead, they choose to downsize their wedding and just have a ceremony and cocktail hour with 20 of their closest friends and family to make sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. To book the most popular wedding date of 2020 you have to be ahead of the game. October 10th, 2020, AKA 10/10/20 is a fabulous date on paper and Carly and Re’Shaw were the first ones to snag it on my calendar. What a date and what a day! I started with Carly and her bridal party getting glammed up, playing Heads Up, and enjoying a lunch from C.R. Chicks (IYKYK)! Carly and Re’Shaw’s Abacoa Golf Club wedding ceremony took place in the clubhouse in front of the big bay windows overlooking the greens. What a view! Re’Shaw escorted his mom down the aisle while Carly was escorted by her dad. Most weddings have some kind of unity ceremony whether that be sand pouring, knot tying, or lighting candles. Carly and Re’Shaw chose to combine red and white wine to symbolize their lives blending together as two become one (and I’m sure having a little wine break in the middle of their ceremony didn’t hurt either). After the ceremony since there was a break in the rain Carly, Re’Shaw, and I grabbed two golf carts and took off. When I say I could have taken pictures of these two all day I’m not blowing smoke. Just scroll down to see what I’m talking about. Although Carly and Re’Shaw had to make some changes to their day, it was still absolutely perfect and I loved capturing every moment. Cheers to 10 years together and now officially husband and wife Mr. & Mrs. Exilien! Will 2021 bring a reception with all of their friends and family? Stay tuned!
