Armature Works Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Puszkar
The force is strong with these two! Star Wars fans this wedding is for you! I met Olivia and Chris (and their sweet pugs) back in January 2020 for their engagement session. We strolled around Tampa Heights and ended with Armature Works in the background. This was so fitting because exactly one year later Armature Works is where Olivia and Chris became Mr. & Mrs. Puszkar! I started the day with the girls at the Courtyard hotel in Downtown Tampa taking details shots while the girls finished with their hair and makeup. Next it was off to the guys rooms as they suited up for their Armature Works wedding day. Chris had special cups made for each of his groomsmen so there was plenty of cheer(sing) to go around. Once I worked my way back to the girls room Olivia got dressed with the help of her mother who also gave her a very special gift that had been passed down from generations. She decided to fasten her “something old” around her bouquet so she could carry it with her throughout the day. Side note- I loved that Olivia’s wedding day shoes were custom made Converse sporting her wedding date. This is very on brand for Olivia because she wore Converse during her engagement session too! As a fellow Chucks lover, I give my stamp of approval.
Once the crew was ready we headed down the street to Tampa Heights for this Armature Works wedding day! Olivia shared a first look with her dad before her and Chris shared their first look. Once all the jitters started to settle we went outside and knocked out all the photos prior to the ceremony. Perks of doing a first look! I’m not sure how I’ve made it this far into the story without getting to the part that Chris and Olivia are HUGE Star Wars fans. Their decor and theme were both centered around Star Wars and I don’t think I’ve ever seen something so cool and classy at the same time. After the ceremony, now that the sun had set, we went back outside where Chris presented Olivia with her own custom made lightsaber. I told y’all this was cool right? The nighttime lightsaber photos might be some of my favorite photos I’ve taken in awhile. I love when I can get creative with my clients and put my 4-year photography degree to good use! The rest of the evening was filled with signature drinks named after their pugs and dancing the night away. When the evening finally came to an end Mr. & Mrs. Puszkar ran through a tunnel of light sticks held by their guests. Olivia and Chris, you have a bright future ahead of you, pun intended!
