Downtown Tampa Photoshoot // C+K
Sometimes you need to trade the beach for some architecture and that’s exactly what we did for this Downtown Tampa photoshoot. I couldn’t think of a better couple to absolutely slay the downtown scene. Carolina and Kyle are expecting their first child in July and they showed up and showed out for their maternity session and I freakin’ loved it! Initially the forecast showed high rain chances for the next 3 days so instead of rescheduling we took our chances during the afternoon for their Downtown Tampa photoshoot while it was cloudy before the storms rolled in. The sun peeked out here and there but thankfully for it being in the middle of the afternoon during April in FL, we weren’t completely dying from heat stroke. We started our shoot at the Tampa Museum of Art against the big glass windows where Carolina donned a leopard print coat to elevate her look and I was living for it. Next we walked down to the Children’s Museum where the big mosaic art installation can be found and snapped some more pics with the sunglasses on! Chic and contemporary, I love to see it. We then made our way around the park to the fountains which I’m so happy Carolina and Kyle were game for even though it meant getting a little wet. But to be honest it felt really refreshing. Like when you go to Disney and they have all of those misting stations so you don’t totally keel over in the Florida heat. Also the pics were totally worth it! After a quick pitstop to change outfits we headed up to the concrete amphitheater area across the river from UT to capture all the architecture Downtown Tampa has to offer. I loved working with Carolina and Kyle for this elevated maternity session and I know for sure their kid is going to be the best dressed in all of Tampa!
