Rusty Pelican Tampa Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Mitchell
673 days later (yes for real, shoutout to COVID) we finally made it to the Mitchell’s wedding day and it was absolutely worth the wait! I started the day with the boys at the Hilton Rocky Point Waterfront where they suited up and Joey got to open some very sentimental gifts from Dana which he wore proudly on his suit. After ties were tied and beers were cheered, I went to hang out with the girls where details old and new were captured and a Harry Potter banner adorned the bed. 10 points for Hufflepuff! Once everyone was ready, Dana and Joey chose to do a first look out on the courtyard overlooking the water. Instead of Dana walking up and tapping Joey on the shoulder, they wanted to face back to back and turn around at the same time. It’s your wedding day and you can do it your way! The impact of the first look will always be the same no matter which way you choose to go about it. Then we went right into getting all of Dana and Joey’s pictures out of the way with their wedding party so they could mix and mingle with their guests at cocktail hour. Major perks of having a first look. We all headed out to this Rusty Pelican Tampa wedding where the skies were a little overcast which made for the perfect lighting. A short and sweet ceremony lead to a gorgeous sunset for which I quickly stole Joey and Dana away to grab a few more pics. Then the celebration began with lively entrances, dinner, drinks, and a fully lit dance floor. I had so much fun working with Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell for their Rusty Pelican Tampa wedding day and wish them nothing but love, health, and happiness in their future. Cheers!
