Sunken Gardens Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Schaub

How much fun did I have with Lindsey and Aaron on their Sunken Gardens wedding day? The limit does not exist. Their energy was contagious which set the tone for their entire day. I’m pretty sure my abs are still sore from laughing. I started the day with the girls at the Sirata Beach Resort as they finished hair and makeup and I photographed Lindsey’s details. The classic bridesmaid robe pics were elevated by heart-shaped sunglasses from Lindsey’s bachelorette party that really came in clutch for photos. Then it was off to Sunken Gardens to meet up with Aaron and the boy as they got ready and Aaron exchanged really thoughtful and cool gifts with his crew. Ray-Ban sunglasses? Okay where do I sign up! Once Lindsey arrived at the venue it was time to get dressed and head out for their first look together. Instead of Lindsey walking up to Aaron and tapping him on the shoulder, they opted to face back to back and turn around at the same time. It doesn’t matter how you do you first look, it will always be a really special moment that I love to capture. Lindsey and Aaron exchanged letters and gifts with each other before we got the whole crew outside for their photos prior to the ceremony. One of the photo requests from Lindsey was that we take a picture with the “I Visited Sunken Gardens” sign. Her grandparents have a photo with the sign (which was displayed at the reception) and she wanted to replicate it. How cool is that? The ceremony took place in front of the large flower foliage backdrop which is just the most stunning background you can really ask for. As Lindsey and Aaron were officially pronounced husband and wife, their walk back down the aisle as Mr. & and Mrs. Schaub was adorned with guests throwing flower petals which adds such a fun element to those photos. The rest of the night was full of dinner, drinks, cake, and dancing before the entire Sunken Gardens wedding departed on trolley’s to continue the rest of the night. Mr. & Mrs. Schaub, you sure know how to throw a wedding. Cheers to you guys!
