Waller Ranch Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Meriwether

I met Allison and Logan back in January 2020 during their engagement session which now seems like a lifetime ago. I loved working with them because they had so much energy and were total naturals during their session which as you know by now, is every photographers dream. I prayed that I would get to photograph their wedding day and as luck would have it, they seemed to like me too so it was a match! I was pumped to shoot their wedding in November 2020 but within days of their nuptials coming up, COVID decided to throw a wrench in their plans and the wedding was postponed until 2021. As devastating as this was during the time, I think it really worked out for the best. Allison and Logan still chose to have their full catholic ceremony and become legally married before their big wedding the following year. They changed venues so this Waller Ranch wedding day was now where the party was at! They were still able to have their religious ceremony with their immediate family which I know what so important to them, but then they also got to have a more laid back ceremony and share vows in front of all their friends and family on their Waller Ranch wedding day. Honestly best of both worlds! The day was filled with my favorite first-look to date, a ceremony under a big oak tree, some cows, a tractor, and plenty of dancing to go around. The night ended with a faux sparkler exit and for once I didn’t fear my hear getting caught on fire! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Meriwether! This day was worth the wait!
