Oxford Exchange Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Watt
An Oxford Exchange wedding has been on my bucket list of venues to shoot at since I started photographing in the Tampa Bay area. Who hasn’t gone to brunch at Oxford without becoming completely enthralled with every single detail this magical building has to offer? I could only imagine how amazing it would be to photograph a wedding there and then Rachel and Jim stepped into the picture and elevated it. The backstory: I met Rachel a couple of years ago at the salon where we were both getting our hair done. With our hair in and out of processing for 6 hours, there wasn’t much to do but snack and chat so we did! It’s hard to believe meeting Rachel that day would lead me to their wedding day so many years later! I first got to work with Rachel and Jim for their engagement session at Philippe Park. This was just a little insight into what I could expect on their big day and I was super excited. Rachel and I have very similar taste when it comes to style and vibe. We love unique elements all things dark and moody so I knew whatever Rachel had planned for her Oxford Exchange wedding day was going to be something straight from my personal Pinterest board and I wasn’t wrong. From her stunning cream, beaded wedding gown, to the black bridesmaid dresses and cake, Rachel was pulling on all my heart strings. Utilizing all of what Oxford Exchange had to offer for their portraits paired with Rachel’s unique sense of style was truly *chefs kiss*. My favorite part of the evening was when all the guests lined up with confetti poppers as Mr. & Mrs. Watt exited into a luxury car that drove them away into the night. It doesn’t get much better than that folks!
