Hotel Zamora Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Smith

I just need to start out by saying OMG what a day! This Hotel Zamora wedding with Jennifer and Ian made my little photography heart SO happy. Why? Details, details, details! Jennifer did such an amazing job with the details on her wedding day and it definitely paid off in a big way. Everything from her getting ready details, to the flowers, to the decor- it was all color coordinated to perfection. What’s even crazier is most of the details were handmade by Jennifer herself. I know right? Yes even the stunning backdrop with the neon sign, Jen did that. They had to rent a U-Haul truck to get everything to the venue and that ladies and gentleman, is the kind of commitment we love to see. It’s also why the Smith’s wedding photos are so elevated. Details matter people! Okay I’ll get off my soapbox now and get on with this Hotel Zamora wedding day. I started with Jen and her best friend and stepdaughter as they go their hair and makeup done while I photographed those stunning details I already gushed about. Before heading to the boys room, Jen had confetti cannons for us to take photos with which is always SO fun. After hanging out with the men suiting up, it was time for the ceremony which took place on the pool deck next to the water. After Jennifer and Ian officially became Mr. & Mrs. Smith, we got their portraits underway while the rest of the guests headed to the rooftop for cocktail hour. This brings us to the most fabulous choreographed first dance mash-up that I’ve even seen. The Smiths hit it out of the park and it was a treat for all of their guests to witness as the sun was setting on the horizon behind them. The rest of the evening was filled with dinner, drinks, and lots of dancing for the newly weds. I couldn’t have been more honored to photograph the Smiths Hotel Zamora wedding day, it really was a dream! Congrats Jennifer and Ian!
