A Museum of Fine Arts engagement session with Kayla and Erik in Vinoy park was just what the doctor ordered for my summertime sadness. And not because I’m sad summers ending or anything like that, I’m sad that it’s so freakin’ hot outside. ? I’m not sure that’s what summertime sadness is suppose to mean but that’s my definition of it. Anyway I digress, as I was saying there was no summertime with Kayla and Erik! Sure we did our fair share of sweating, it is August in Florida after all, but all things considered it was a very pleasant evening. Kayla texted me before our shoot asking if they could bring some books as they are both avid readers and we love to see it! They brought first addition Harry Potter books which instantly puts them on my favorite people list. We obviously discussed our houses as we strolled through Vinoy Park hitting all the good spots for photos. It wouldn’t be a Museum of Fine Arts engagement without the iconic trees, architecture, and sailboats which is why it makes it one of my favorite places to shoot. Also it’s not too far from North Shore park which is right around the corner. Another great photo session spot! Along with the Harry Potter of it all, Kayla was a former dancer and her and Erik met line dancing in Orlando which is why their spins and dips were so on point for their pics. We ended their session under the string lights hanging on all the oak trees that line the park. It was perfect. This Museum of Fine Arts engagement session with Kayla and Eric has me SO excited for their wedding next year! I can hardly wait but for now enjoy the magic these two brought to their session.
