The Don Cesar Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Reliford
After getting to know Rachael through email threads, Zoom calls, and Pinterest boards over the past year I knew the vibe of The Don Cesar wedding was going to be right up my alley and it did not disappoint. The day started out with a wicked thunderstorm that dumped rain over the Bay the entire morning and afternoon. Even for a summer day in Florida it was a little excessive. Because of the weather the ceremony location for The Don Cesar wedding had to be switched indoors. Nobody loves having to go with their plan B ceremony location, but instances like this are why it’s so important to have a backup plan incase of weather. In the end Rachel and Danny became husband and wife surrounded by their closest family and friends and that’s truly all that matters (plus we got to hang out in the A/C and Rachael and I decided that was a huge perk to having an indoor ceremony). After the ceremony the weather cleared and we were able to go outside for portraits which we were all so excited about. The grounds at The Don are so beautiful and of course you have to get pictures in front of the iconic “pink castle”. Although we didn’t get a sunset, the moody blue and gray tones of the sky and ocean are one of my favorites to photograph. Rachael and Danny might as well have walked straight out of my Pinterest board for their portraits and I was loving every second. It’s safe to say I’m obsessed with these two. After portraits we headed back upstairs where the party kicked off with champagne, cake, and music that had the dance floor packed all night long. When the clock struck midnight it was time for Rachael and Danny to share one last private dance together which was the perfect ending to their wedding day. Mr. and Mrs. Reliford, you guys were a blast and I loved every second!
