Philippe Park Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Jackson
This Philippe Park wedding day was filled with all of Mother Nature’s elements and it was still the perfect wedding day. I’ll elaborate. When I arrived at the this stunning park in Safety Harbor, the plan was to start with Michelle and Alec’s first look followed by sharing their vows with one another. The sky was dark, the wind was whipping, I checked the radar and saw a big storm was was expected for the next hour. We all knew from the forecast the chances of rain were going to be high, so we came prepared, but there’s still a little part of you that hopes you’re in a little bubble that won’t be effected by any storms. Especially when you’re working outside. With no time to waste Michelle and Alec shared their first look in a grassy field overlooking the water, the wind howling and the rain starting to come down. We popped up our umbrellas and didn’t let the inclement weather deter us from carrying on with the day. So we trekked to the stairs where Michelle and Alec shared their vows. We almost lost our umbrellas a couple of times that’s how strong the wind was blowing. After vows were shared the rain started to let up so we decided to take as many photos as we could while the weather was somewhat cooperating. Then it was time for the ceremony! It wouldn’t be a Philippe Park wedding without a ceremony under the most iconic oak tree in the park. It was such a beautiful setup and just in time for the wind to die down and although it was sprinkling the branches from the oak tree kept us covered. Rings were exchanged and Michelle and Alec became Mr. & Mrs. Jackson! As we were finishing up with family photos and entering the reception, the wind stopped, the sun came out, and the temperature dropped about 10 degrees. Like I said it was a day filled with all the elements but the love between Michelle and Alec could weather any storm. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Jackson!
