Tampa River Center Proposal // O+P
A couple of months ago, Oscar reached out to me to help plan his proposal to his girlfriend, Priscilla. They both live in Miami but will be moving to Tampa shortly so they come to town once a month to check on the progress of their house and to explore the city. There are so many great places in Tampa to propose but you can’t beat the views from this Tampa River Center proposal. Oscar and I came up with a game plan and waited for the day to come and once it did the weather did not disappoint. I got to the Tampa River Center early to scout out the area and make sure one of the 4 docks were open an available for Oscar to utilize. The coast was clear and I positioned myself at a table where I could see both entrances to the park. Once Oscar and Priscilla made their way down to the water, I *casually* followed them down to the dock and started snapping away as Oscar got down on one knee and proposed. I couldn’t hear anything since I was pretty far away, but what I could hear were the cutest little squeals of happiness and excitement from Priscilla which I thought was the sweetest. Once the moment passed and I could stop being a creeper with a camera LOL I walked down to the dock to congratulate them both and to get a closer look at this stunning ring! The rest of the evening we worked our way around Julie B. Lane park for Oscar and Priscilla’s engagement session. There is so much art scattered around this park, but my favorite and the most well known is the Form of Wander sculpture by artist Marc Fornes. Such a cool spot for photos so we definitely took advantage of that. The sun started to set as we concluded our session and it was time for Oscar and Priscilla to FaceTime all their friends and family to share the news. I’m so happy I got to capture this Tampa River Center Proposal for these two. Congrats Oscar and Priscilla!
