Idlewood Venue Wedding // Mr. & Mrs. Breum
Dearest gentle reader, on the 28th day of May in the year 2023, an Idlewood Venue wedding took place inspired by the Bridgerton book series. The scene was set in a garden amongst blooming magnolias, bougainvilleas, and moss covered oak trees. Lawn games like croquet, Jenga, corn hole, and Yahtzee entertained “the ton” outside while inside the reception space was draped in wisteria and the tables were adorned with gold and purple details. Both Kayla and Erik got ready with their Court in separate spaces while the final touches of their day came together. Once they were ready, Kayla and Erik shared their first look by the garden and exchanged vows before the ceremony. Because it was so important to Kayla and Erik to spend as much time with their friends and family as possible, we tackled all of their portraits prior to the ceremony. We finished just as guests were starting to arrive and take their seats while Kayla and Erik got a much needed refresh in the A/C before the ceremony began. The Idlewood Venue wedding ceremony took place under a gorgeous moss adorned oak tree while family and friends looked on. Once rings were exchanged and “I do’s” were shared, Kayla and Erik became Mr. & Mrs. Breum! Guests were met with passed hors d’oeuvres, a champagne wall, and a decked out dessert table all beautifully themed in royal colors. After dinner during golden hour, I pulled the newlyweds for sunset portraits in the field while guests mingled outside and played lawn games until the sun disappeared over the horizon. Then the real party started with plenty of dancing until it was time to say goodbye. Guests lined the walkway and cheered as Mr. & Mrs. Breum made their exit into the night. It was a perfect day. Congrats Kayla & Erik!
