Cross Creek Ranch Wedding // Mrs. & Mrs. Rivera

Crystal and Kim, where do I even begin? This was such a magical day filled with so much love. I guess I’ll start from the beginning! While I didn’t get the opportunity to meet Crystal and Kim prior to their wedding day, we did send plenty of email filled gifs and chat on the phone so I felt like I already knew they were going to be so fun to photograph and *spoiler alert* I was right. So when I walked into this Cross Creek Ranch wedding day and was greeted by two girls with bright red and blue hair, giddy about their wedding day, I was so pumped to be there. Both Crystal and Kim got their hair and makeup done together while I photographed their details. When it was time for the girls to get into their dresses they split up so their first look and big dress reveal would be a surprise. I transferred to the cottage with Crystal while her mom and friends help her get dressed. Putting on her brand new pair of Vans sneakers provided some comic relief because they were so difficult to get on having never been broken in. IYKYK. Once Crystal was dressed I headed back to the main house to capture Kim getting ready with the help of her mom and sister, although her shoes didn’t put up as much of a fight. Lol Once both girls were ready we headed outside for their first look and then it was time for the ceremony! Nestled under a canopy of oak trees with a boardwalk leading to the ceremony site, this Cross Creek Ranch wedding might be one of the most picturesque places I’ve ever seen. It was giving fairytale forest vibes and I loved it. Kim walked down the aisle first while Crystal was second. They both shared hand written vows with each other which was really special and a nod to how their relationship started, long distance through words and letters. Instead of exchanging rings they did a traditional hand fasting ceremony before they were pronounced Mrs. & Mrs. Rivera! The rest of the evening was filled with friends, family, dinner, dancing, and doughnuts! When it was time for the evening to come to an end, Crystal and Kim shared one last dance together while their guests lined up outside and sent them off with a sparkler exit. It was a 10/10 day. Congrats Mrs. & Mrs. Rivera!
