Cypress Point Park Maternity // S+J

On a toasty yet serene evening, I had the pleasure of photographing Sonia and Jay’s Cypress Point Park maternity session. This session was particularly special as Sonia and Jay are expecting their first child, a baby boy! With the bay as our backdrop and a spectacular sunset painting the sky, the evening turned into a magical experience that I was honored to document. Sonia and Jay arrived at the park, glowing with excitement and anticipation. The warmth of the sunset perfectly complemented their joy, casting a golden hue over everything. Sonia looked radiant in a flowing, pastel sage green gown that fluttered gently in the evening breeze, symbolizing the soon to be arrival of their little boy. Jay, standing by her side with his hand often resting on Sonia’s baby bump. As the sun began to set, the sky transformed into a canvas of oranges, pinks, and purples. We took advantage of the soft, diffused light to capture intimate moments between Sonia and Jay. They walked hand-in-hand along the beach, their laughter mingling with the gentle sound of the waves. The park’s lush greenery and the serene shoreline provided a perfect setting for a variety of shots. From candid moments of shared laughter to tender embraces, each photograph captured the deep connection between the couple and their excitement for the journey ahead. As the session came to a close, the sky was ablaze with the final colors of the sunset. It was a fitting end to a perfect evening, symbolizing the dawn of a new chapter in Sonia and Jay’s lives. I feel incredibly privileged to have been part of their story, capturing these precious moments at their Cypress Point Park maternity session that they will cherish forever.
