St. Pete Beach Engagement // S+S

In the blissful setting of Pass-A-Grille Beach in St. Petersburg, FL, Stephanie and Sean celebrated their love with an engagement session even though *insert plot twist here* they are already married! Having already exchanged vows at the Hillsborough County Courthouse in Tampa, back in December 2023, Stephanie and Sean were relocated to Japan and never had the opportunity to do an engagement session. So when Stephanie reached out to me that they would be in town for a week and wanted to do an engagement session, I jumped all over it! A little Uno reverse if you will! This session was a perfect opportunity to capture their newlywed bliss in a more relaxed and scenic environment, completely different from the concrete jungle of Downtown Tampa. For their St. Pete Beach engagement session, the couple chose Pass-A-Grille Beach, known for its pristine sands, crystal-clear waters, and stunning sunsets. However, with it being summer and Florida being Florida, the thunderstorms were giving us a run for our money. Even though the radar warned it would be all doom and gloom, we decided to rush to the beach prior to sunset and see what kind of photos we could get. As you can tell, no doom and gloom to be seen. However, this meant we weren’t shooting for a sunset. Now I don’t want to toot my own horn but I will say sunsets are kinda my thing. But shooting with a more monotoned backdrop without all the colors the setting sun throws out was actually a vibe. It gives the photos a different feel and honestly I’m loving it! Stephanie wore a flowing white dress that fluttered in the ocean breeze, while Sean opted for a casual yet stylish look with a striped shirt and khaki pants. Their natural chemistry was evident in every shot, from playful splashes in the water to tender embraces on the sandy shores. One particularly memorable moment was when the couple stood on the rocks that form near the pier, and watched a dolphin rise in and out of the water. Seriously folks it was magical. They shared a kiss, framing the dolphin between them. Stephanie and Sean’s St. Pete engagement session at Pass-A-Grille Beach was a celebration of their love and the beginning of their journey as a married couple. The serene backdrop, combined with their genuine connection, made for an unforgettable day, potential sunburn and all!
