The Floridian Social Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Howard
For Remi and Keyont’e, Halloween is more than just a holiday—it’s a celebration of their unique style and favorite time of year. While they officially tied the knot earlier in the year, they couldn’t resist holding their Floridian Social wedding celebration the day before Halloween in historic downtown St. Petersburg. With a day that blended elegance and of gothic charm, they were surrounded by family and friends who shared in the excitement of this festive day. Remi was stunning in her black wedding dress, holding a bouquet of black and red roses that fit the vibe perfectly. Her bridesmaids, dressed in shades of red, were a vibrant and striking contrast that beautifully enhanced the gothic feel of the day. Keyont’e matched Remi’s style in his black suit, while his groomspeople added a rich accent to the aesthetic with their maroon suits. For their portraits, Remi and Keyont’e had the entire theatre to themselves which was one big playground to me! The grand architecture and low-lit atmosphere provided a cinematic backdrop that allowed me to capture creative and artistic photos. Remi and Keyont’e also hired one of the theaters light technicians to be on hand so we could work with different lighting styles which really helped elevate their portraits. The large disco balls hanging from the ceiling were really fun to play with! Once we were done at the theater, we walked to the EDGE district, capturing moments against St. Pete’s vibrant murals, which added a playful and artistic twist. The natural light vs the artificial light was the perfect contrast to add some diversity to their portraits. This Floridian Social wedding was a perfect culmination of Remi and Keyont’e’s love for Halloween and each other—a day filled with bold colors, dramatic settings, and unique memories that everyone will cherish for years to come. This one was super fun for me! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Howard!
