Tampa Courthouse Wedding Portraits // Mr. + Mrs. Bartley
Christine and Michael’s love story took a romantic turn this St. Patrick’s Day as they exchanged vows in an intimate courthouse elopement in downtown Tampa. With a grand wedding celebration planned in Ireland later this year, they chose to keep this ceremony private, focusing on the deep commitment they share before stepping out into the city streets for a portrait session that captured both their love and Tampa’s rich history. After their heartfelt “I do’s” inside the Hillsborough County Courthouse, the newlyweds met me downtown for their Tampa Courthouse wedding portraits, beaming with post-ceremony excitement. Our first stop was the courthouse itself, where we documented their newlywed bliss against its stately architecture. From there, we made our way to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a stunning 1905 landmark with intricate stained glass and breathtaking Romanesque architecture. Its old-world charm was a fitting tribute to the Irish theme, making it one of the most meaningful stops of the day. Next, we explored Le Méridien Hotel, formerly a federal courthouse, now transformed into a chic boutique hotel. The grand columns and regal atmosphere added an elegant touch to their love story. Christine’s radiant smile and Michael’s proud expression made every shot feel like a movie scene, especially when they sported their sunglasses! Our final stop was the iconic Tampa Theatre, where the glowing marquee and vintage aesthetic created a cinematic end to their portrait session. With St. Patrick’s Day festivities buzzing around us, the city’s energy made their celebration even more special. Christine and Michael’s Tampa Courthouse wedding portraits were a beautiful testament to love in its purest form—intimate, heartfelt, and filled with adventure. As they prepare to say “I do” again in Ireland, this day will always hold a special place in their story. Congratulations to the Bartleys- may your journey together be filled with love, adventure, and a little luck of the Irish.
